A bra can be genuinely lightweight in fabric weight and still feel stuffy by noon, because breathability is about airflow, not just how thin something feels in your hand.

Not necessarily — swapping the two or three bras you wear most often for breathable styles usually solves most of the discomfort, without needing to replace an entire wardrobe of intimates.

Breathable fabric allows air to circulate and heat to escape; moisture-wicking fabric is engineered to pull sweat away from skin toward the outer surface where it evaporates. Some fabrics do both, but they're technically different properties.

Not automatically — a wire-free bra in heavy, non-breathable fabric can still trap heat. The fabric structure and ventilation matter more than whether underwire is present.
